Come see what happens behind the scenes of the ridings school, feeding and looking after the riding school horses and ponies.
Why not organise some friends and spend the day having fun with our friendly ponies and horses
The workshops are very popular so you will need to put your name down early so you will not be disappointed.
GAIN CONFIDENCE AROUND HORSES AND PARTICIPATE IN:
Basic horsemanship, games on horseback, riding lesson, Bareback riding, jumping, and lots of fun.
WHAT DO WE BRING:
DAY WORKSHOPS: long pants/jeans, sun safe shirt, morning tea, lunch and friends. (parents are welcome to stay )
WHAT DO WE SUPPLY:
Ponies/horses, helmets, riding boots, a safe environment, holiday entertaiment
WHERE ARE WE:
280 Yeates Rd, Beerwah 4519.
Yeates Rd runs off Old Gympie Rd, 280 is at the very end, you will see the arena from the road.
BIRTHDAY PARTY WITH A DIFFERENCE!!
You can organise to have a birthday party in the riding school as a half day activity. Bring your party food and let us entertain the children by teaching them some skills to do with horses

- WHAT DO WE TEACH:
- basic horsemanship and how to be safe around horses.
- brushing, plaiting and turning the horses into party ponies. with spray paint and scrunchies.
- put saddle and bridle on, a short lesson in the arena before we head out for an hours trail ride. ( Parents are welcome to come for a pleasent walk and join)
- Washing of the horses before putting them back into the paddock.
- We supply you with a pony for the morning and teach you how to:
- catch
- lead
- groom
- names of brushes
- clean out hooves
- plait mains and tails for those who want to
- you will learn how to tack up correctly with bridle and saddle
- Then you enjoy a 1 hr riding lesson with games followed by teaching you how to:
- unsaddle
- hose your pony down
- rug
- and lead back to the paddock safely
- and finally learning how to make up and mix feed.
